Sally Castell

Sally Castell has a background in physiotherapy, recreational therapy, health promotion, community/ health education and fitness. She has vast experience in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, retirement villages, community settings and health promotion projects in the UK and Australia.
In association with research work for two Universities in Sydney, Sally has been involved in planning and conducting exercise programs on issues such as falls prevention, depression and strength training.
In 2001 Sally was a Finalist at the Baxter Better health Awards and she was awarded the Life-time Achievement award from the ANZ Falls Prevention Network
Movement Matters conducts general fitness classes for the older adult and frail aged alongside specific programs related to falls risk reduction; back care exercise and cognitive stimulation / exercise programs. Sally has a wide range of resources available, exercise charts, DVDs and booklets.
